Why does South Dakota Achieve
choose to be accredited?
CQL Accreditation
measures the organization’s
direct impact on the lives
of people receiving
services. CQL Accreditation
is grounded in an
organization-wide systems
approach and challenges the
organization to keep raising
the bar in relation to its
definition of quality.
South Dakota
Achieve has been continually
accredited by CQL for 29
years. This is longer
than any other agency in the
United States.
The long standing
relationship between South
Dakota Achieve and CQL has
directly benefited all
organizational members.
The clarity of our mission
of finding innovative ways
for people with disabilities
to achieve their dream is
reinforced by the continuous
learning that takes place
during the accreditation
process.
When it
will occur?
The
dates for South Dakota
Achieve’s next accreditation
have been set for
August 10th - 13th, 2009.
Several reviewers from CQL
will spend the week on-site
learning about our systems,
visiting with organizational
members and assessing our
supports during the review.
We are looking forward to a
week of celebrating,
learning and growing through
the process!
