Turning “Impossible” into
“Accomplishment”
Story by Vice
President Development,
Linda Wittrock Eidem
In February, members of the Achieve
community, including staff, the
people we support, board members,
and volunteers as well as 300 other community
leaders were given the opportunity
to enjoy Jessica Cox give a very
inspiring presentation –
Turning “Impossible” into
“Accomplishment”.
Born without arms, Jessica now flies
airplanes, drives cars, and
otherwise lives a normal life using
her feet as others use their hands.
She holds the title of the first
person without arms in the American
Tae Kwon-Do Association to get a
black belt and the first women pilot
in aviation history to fly with her
feet. She graduated college with a
degree in Psychology and is pursuing
a career as an international
motivational speaker!
In Jessica’s speech she was not only
entertaining but shares her
struggles and success. She provides
unique and personal insight on how
best to approach a challenge and
attempts to redefine the concept of
possibility. Her desire is to help
people reconnect with their own
inner strength and aptitude. Her
hope is that her story,
accomplishments, and life
experiences will not only captivate
but inspire audiences from all walks
of life. (Learn
